Kyle was selected as the Army Surgeon General PA of the Year in 2014, the Non-Commissioned Officer of the Year for 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne) 2002, is a member of The Military Order of Medical Merit, as well as the Recipient of the Army Aviation Association of America (AAAA) Bronze award, and 4 time recipient of the Boeing Rescue award for missions in Afghanistan.

He has been a MEDEVAC Crewmember, Armored Cavalry Troop Senior Medic, Special Operations Combat Medic (SOCM) in the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne), achieving the rank of Sergeant First Class (E-7), then attended the Interservice Physician Assistant Program (IPAP) in 2004.    

Kyle deployed to combat 13 times, accumulating 7 combat service stripes. He served in multiple capacities to include Special Operations Task Force Senior Medic, Parachute Infantry Medical Officer, and Special Operations Task Force Flight Surgeon, in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Africa. 

He served as the Senior 160th SOAR (A) Medic for Task Force Dagger during the initial in invasion of Afghanistan, where he performed the first Casualty Evacuation (CASEVAC) of Operation Enduring Freedom.

During Kyle’s final deployment with his flight medic Adam Voydik, he was on the CASEVAC mission of an injured soldier involving the first successful use of Freeze-Dried Plasma since WWII.

Kyle served as a member of the board of directors of the Special Operations Medical Association (SOMA), a Committee on Tactical Combat Casualty Care (CoTCCC) voting member, and as the USASOC Medical Officer Representative on the USSOCOM Curriculum and Examination Board (USSOCOM CEB), upon retirement continued to serve as a member at large, content contributor to the Advanced Tactical Practitioner (ATP) Manual, and ATP Examination question writer.

Jimmy Gruenewald is an Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant with over 10 years of experience in emergency and austere medicine.

Jimmy has over 10 years of Active Duty service with the US Army, serving in the 82d Airborne Division with the 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment, the 1-160th and 2-160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne) (SOAR (Abn)) Battalion Aeromedical Physician Assistant, and was selected above his peers to be the second 160th SOAR (Abn) Regiment Physician Assistant. He is combat veteran with six combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan.

He was the recipient of the 2017 U.S. Army Spurgeon Neal Flight Surgeon of the Year Award in 2017. He currently serves as the President and Strategic Management Officer for Advanced Medical Concepts, LLC.

Jimmy currently practices as an Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant at a Level 2 trauma center as well as a critical access Emergency Department in northern Wisconsin.

Aimee Gruenewald graduated with a Bachelor’s of ScienceDegree in Nursing from Alverno College in Milwaukee, WI. Aimee completed her internship in the Pediatric emergency department at Children’s Hospital in Milwaukee WI. Upon completing her internship she then went to work in the Pediatric ICU at Children’s Hospital in Milwaukee, WI. She also worked in the Labor/Delivery floor as an RN at Moore County Regional Hospital in Pinehurst, NC. Aimee currently serves as the Accounts Manager for Advanced Medical Concepts, LLC.

Evelyn Kaelin graduated from Purdue University with a Master's of Science degree in Technology, Leadership and Innovation. Earning her undergrad in Computer Integrated Manufacturing from Vincennes University(AAS) and Indiana State University (BS). Evelyn has extensive experience in a Corporate Manufacturing environment leading projects and teams to success. She is Lean Six Sigma Certified and has a passion for organization and forward movement. She joins AMC as the Project Manager.
